A Prayer “Office” for Families
We have begun praying a special “office” for the restoration
of the family in Christ. Below is the text. Please take two minutes each day to
pray with us for strong Catholic marriages and Christ-centered homes. Together,
we can draw down the super-abundant fruits of Our Lord’s Redemption into
families, especially those in most need.
Why This Family Office?
To provide a short form of common prayer for those who wish
to unite themselves daily with the intentions of our apostolate, specifically:
- For an
increase of faith in the sacrament of Matrimony;
- For holy
marriages and sanctified home lives, through a true devotion to the Blessed
Virgin Mary;
- For all the
graces necessary to overcome the evils threatening marriages and family life
today; and
- For the
enthronement of the Sacred Heart in every family.

V. O God, come to my assistance.
R. O Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy
Ghost.
As it was in the beginning is now
and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
V. O Lord, hear my prayer.
R. And let my cry come unto Thee.
Let us pray:
O Lord Jesus Christ, Who by subjecting Thyself to Mary and
Joseph
didst consecrate family life with wonderful virtues:
grant that, by
their joint assistance,
we may fashion our lives
after the example of Thy Holy
Family,
and obtain everlasting fellowship with it.
Who livest and reignest with God the Father,
in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, we humbly and confidently ask you
to hear our prayers for the following special intentions:

OUR FATHER, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth
as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our
daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass
against us.
And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
HAIL, MARY, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,
and blessed is
the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now and at
the hour of our death. Amen.
O Lord, grant us many holy Catholic marriages and families!
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
